Bonefishing is a type of catch-and-release saltwater sport fishing, targeting the elusive and speedy bonefish—known for their thrilling runs and clear-water habitats.
Bonefishing takes place year round in the Bahamas, but the best catches take place October to June when the water temperature is perfect for bonefish frolic.
We operate in the Flat of Exuma in the Bahamas, known for its crystal-clear flats, mangroves, and prime bonefish habitat.
Not at all! We welcome beginners, hobbyists, and seasoned anglers. Our guides offer helpful tips for all skill levels.
Ideal fishing accommodation is provided for 1-2 guests per boat for best fishing space. A group of three (3) or more guests will require two (2) or more boats.
Of course! Non fishing guests are allowed. The Flats are a beautiful space for relaxation or photography. The cost to book a trip includes 1-2 guests. Please contact us for information if you wish to have more than 2 guests on the trip
Children of all ages are welcome on our fishing trips, but we recommend children be at least 5 years old to fully enjoy the experience.
We offer half-day (4 hours) and full-day (8 hours) fishing trips for individuals, families, and groups. In addition to Fly Fishing, we also offer specialized trips for bottom fishing, and snorkeling experiences.
Our trips usually include:
• Professional guide service
• Flats boat & fuel
• Rods, reels & tackle
• Bottled water
• Cooler with ice (for your own beverages)
We provide all necessary fishing gear, including rods, reels, bait, and tackle. We also provide life jackets and other safety equipment.
No license is required, but visitors are required to have a Certified Bahamian Guide for fishing on the Flats.
